This delicious blend of mountain fruit is primarily a blend of Zinfandel, Syrah, Mourvèdre with a bit of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah for structure and a touch of Malbec, bringing out a bit of blue fruit and higher tones in the finish. In the nose this wine exhibits bright red fruit, brambleberry, and a hint of sandalwood and forest floor notes from the Mourvèdre. On first sip, bright raspberry and blackberry fruit dominate and quickly dive into dark black cherry fruit on the mid-palate. This wine quickly evolves in the mouth with good movement and acidity providing a simple structure and smooth finish. This wine is easy to drink on its own and one that can pair well with many different foods.
